I prefer variety so Novelty, RP, or whatever its all fine IMO.

I do like original names the most though, not to say I dislike others.

A friend of mine has Diablo in his name, and we were waiting for someone to show up in some PvE outpost, and I kept pinging all the other players that had Diablo in their names while we were waiting, I was honestly SURPRISED at home many there were, must have pinged at least 10 different names, we were all laughing, he wasnt too happy with it though

I think the limitation of 2 names (as in you must have at least 2 names or a space in between, whatever) is a bummer though. I remember trying to name my very first PvE char and I wanted just 1 word and it wouldnt let me.

I don't get annoyed by the names people use. (Unless of course they call themselves something like Kobey The Nub)

But their names do give others some sort of impression about them (along with their armor/colour etc). Well those with silly names give others the impression that they are ... silly.

I don't really like novelty names for most of my characters, just not my thing, that being said I do enjoy a lot of the fun witty ones there are.

Kryta Fried Chicken is awsome and lets not forget everybody's favorite ritualist Forgetful Was Uhh.

I do use a few novelty names though, mostly for mules and such, I have a NF male monk with the hairstyle that obscures the eyes named Tyrian Sheep Dog, as well as a warrior named Three Lock Box (in refrence to the Sammy Hagar song

) both are storage.

hmm not sure if my regular warrior's name counts as novelty though, Riot Inducer

There are some very funny humour names out there. My personal favourite is "Forgetful Was Ummm". I mainly cringe if I see people who just HAVE to have a name which is already taken and therefore they use X:s and |:s to get it, like:

I wanted a one word name, but that wasn't an option. Since I didn't think about, or know about the X Name X options when I made it, I got creative. I'm now glad I didn't use xx's or II's, etc.

Wanted: Mystique
Used: Mys Teek

Wanted: Poisonous
Used: Poison Iss

I also made a joke character, and ended up keeping it. Used a name that could easily get reported and I'd have to change it. I've seen others similar to it, and did use some xx's on it.

My last character I made is a holder for the name until I buy more slots or make a character I want to keep long term. It sounds kinda dumb until you press and hold CONTROL then click on my character.

Naruto = a steamed fish-paste cake, sliced to decorate soup. Can also mean a maestrom when different kanji are used. It's the character from the show of that title's given name (Uzumaki) that means spiral/whirlpool.
